Who doesn’t love Chocolate Chip Cookies? So we had a perfectly good recipe, delicious recipe to be precise, but we we’re getting bored of the same semi sweet chocolate chip recipe. We found this recipe months maybe even years ago from The Cupcakes and Cashmere Blog, and have been modifying tiny details ever since. For today’s recipe we decided to mix things up, instead of using the conventional 12 ounces of semi sweet chocolate, we used 6 ounces of White Chocolate and the other half of Milk Chocolate. A match made in heaven.
Do not trust the regular white chocolate chips you find in the Dominican Republic, they’re usually not real chocolate. We bought these chips on our last trip to the states, and brought them in our luggage, don’t worry there is plenty for many many orders!
You will need:
- 2 Sticks unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 2 3/4 cup flour
- 1/16 tsp kosher salt
- 1 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 6 ounces white chocolate chips
- 6 ounces milk chocolate chips
Beat with electric mixer on high butter, sugar and vanilla for 3 minutes. Then add the egg and beat just until combined. Whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda mix. Then combine both, and add the chocolate chips. We like to use muffin top silicon molds so that all the cookies have the same shape and size.
HAPPY BAKING !!!
